Speechmatics, the Cambridge-based leaders in machine learning and automatic speech recognition, can today announce that it has been recognized for outstanding achievement in business by winning a coveted Queen’s Award for Enterprise. Its Automatic Linguist is a 2019 winner in the prestigious Innovation Category.

The Automatic Linguistic can build a new language in as little as a week and also allows for rapid iteration, improvement and adaptation of existing languages. The tool streamlines the entire language build process and creates substantial business value by recognizing patterns within and across languages and applying them to new language builds. This significantly reduces the time, data and financial costs required to form a new language.
